The FOCUS HBCU Fair connects students, families, and communities with representatives from leading Historically Black Colleges and Universities across the country. As a featured event of the 66th Florida District Conference of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., FOCUS will create an engaging environment where prospective students can explore colleges and universities, learn more about admissions requirements, discover scholarship and financial aid opportunities, and begin identifying institutions that align with their academic and career aspirations.
More than a traditional college fair, FOCUS represents Alpha Phi Alpha’s continued commitment to scholarship, educational advancement, leadership development, and creating pathways to opportunity for the next generation. Students and families will have the opportunity to engage directly with representatives from participating HBCUs, ask questions about campus life and academic programs, and gain valuable insight into the college admissions process.
Through partnerships with UNCF, the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, and participating Historically Black Colleges and Universities, FOCUS creates a direct connection between prospective students and institutions with longstanding traditions of academic excellence, leadership, culture, service, and achievement.
As brothers, families, community leaders, educators, and guests gather for the 66th Florida District Conference, the FOCUS HBCU Fair will serve as one of the conference’s key community-impact initiatives—extending the reach of the conference beyond fraternity business and creating meaningful opportunities for students throughout Florida and beyond.
