We hope you enjoy your visit to the site. The FFAC represents the beautiful State of Florida, The Bahamas, US Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Haiti, and Republic of Panama.
After the Fraternity was established in 1906, it took almost a score of years for it to be established in Florida. The first chapter to be chartered in Florida was the Upsilon Lambda Chapter in Jacksonville on December 30, 1925. Twelve years later two alumni chapters, Beta Beta Lambda and Beta Delta Lambda, were chartered in Florida. The first college chapter to be chartered in Florida was Beta Nu at Florida A&M College on April 23, 1932

ALPHA L.I.G.H.T. Administration
The Alpha L.I.G.H.T. Administration highlights the importance of selfless service and being a light for others. Light is love, encouragement, peace, patience, and hope in hopeless situations. Everyone needs light to be effective and successful in life.
The Alpha L.I.G.H.T. Administration strives to provide these light attributes for Brothers and other stakeholders to embrace, resulting in a forward movement of the Florida District while focusing on five key areas defined through the acronym “LIGHT”:

JC RAWLS FOUNDATION
Promotes, supporst and advances educational opportunities, scholarship, community service, and leadership within the membership of the Florida Federation of Alpha Chapters, and the communities it serves.
ALPHA DAY ON THE HILL
The purpose of Alpha Day on the Hill is to unite Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha from across Florida in collective advocacy, empowering them to engage with lawmakers, influence policy, and advance the fraternity’s mission of uplifting communities through civic leadership and social justice.
